At Seakura, we have developed a patented technology that allows seaweed to be grown in land-based pools that are fully controlled aquatic environments. Sea water is pumped from the depth of the Ocean, where it undergoes a proprietary purification process to remove pollutants and create the perfect clean medium for seaweed growth. Due to the purity of all phases of the seaweed growth process, it allows our seaweed to be grown free of pollutants and pesticides that would be present in traditional systems. In an effort to keep the ecological balance, we return the purified seawater back to the Ocean.
