Marine biologist, Ph.D graduate from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and formerly assistant professor at the University of Maryland, USA. With more than 25 years of experience in the field of marine biotechnology, Yossi is leading Seakura’s R&D team in study, develop and implementing land-based marine aquaculture systems, for sustainable and clean production of Seakura’s seaweed and other marine organisms.

Meir serves as the Chief Economist of Seakura’s parent company and is accompanied Seakura for the past 8 years. Meir has about 35 years of experience in finance management, economics, banking and the capital market.

Meir holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics (with honors) from Ben-Gurion University and a master’s degree studies in Industrial Engineering & Management.
